Adventures in Stormreach
If an option is not listed below it is either not allowed or requires prior DM approval. When an option requires prior DM approval, you must submit your request in writing by email with a source and page reference or hyperlink to the rules option requested. I may accept requests at the table, but I reserve the right to postpone my judgment in such a case. I am willing to be flexible, but I don’t wish to spend time hunting for rules options. I’d rather spend my time developing an awesome campaign.
Prestige Classes: Any from the Core Rulebook or Eberron Campaign Setting†. Others require DM permission.
Archetypes: Archetypes require DM approval. A PC may only have an archetype for one class.
Alternate Racial Traits: Alternate Racial Traits require DM approval. A PC may only have one alternate racial trait.
Favored Class Option: Favored Class Options aside from those in the Core Rulebook require DM approval. A PC may only have one Favored Class Option not in the Core Rulebook per class, including Racial Favored Class Options.
Traits: Traits require DM approval. Only traits from the Advanced Player’s Guide and Ultimate Campaign will be considered. A PC may have up to two traits, subject to the usual restrictions.
Retraining: All retraining options from Ultimate Campaign are available at standard costs in time and gold.
Magic Items: All items from the Core Rulebook and Eberron Campaign Setting† are allowed. See also Magic Item House Rules.
Playing Multiple Characters: You may bring along more than one character to an adventure if you feel it is needed. Decided ahead of time whether the character is a combatant or non-combatant. Non-combatants gain 1/3 of the usual XP, do not participate in combat, and share the fate of the other party members in the event of a total party kill (TPK). Outside of combat, non-combatants are free to participate in any capacity the player sees fit otherwise.
†Consult DM for adaptation if necessary.
